The stage, that will remind you of your high School Prom

Last summer I was able to tag along with my bloggie BFF Tin (who is also a writer or When in Manila.com) to Candy Style Awards a fashion event hosted by one of Manila’s sought after teen magazine – Candy, the bestest friend you’ll ever have.

I’ve been a Candy girl all my High School life until now I still have stacks of candy mag at home. This year the the theme is Prom pretty, so imagine Candy girls dressing up in their lovely Prom looks that filled Rockwell Tent that evening. It was hosted by Justin Quirino and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Some of the artist who hosted alongside Justin and Jasmine,are Lauren and Megan Young ang blogger Laureen Uy.

The Candy Style Stars – Model Julia Sniegowski,student and blogger Lexi Gancayco, blogger and graphic artist Danika Navarro, musicianReese Lansangan, Style sisters and blogger Vern and Verniece Encisco, Model Linn Oeymo and Dj Janeena Chan.

We’re glad to see Danika, one of the style stars that I truly admire not just in the field of fashion but also in dance. Despite all the recognitions that she received, she stayed grounded and humble that makes her an inspiration.

Here’s my take on the Prom Pretty look.
