Audrey Hepburn: How to steal her style.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn has always been my fashion icon, I love her classic and neat look. Her style will always be a pinnacle of class and grace.Aside from that, her initial aspiration was to be a dancer and at the later part of her life she devoted in doing humanitarian work with UNICEF.

Here’s how you can steal her style:

Audrey Hepburn

1. Know your body and what looks good on you.

Having a discipline of a dancer Audrey has a daunting 22inch waist and she usually accentuate it with cinched belt. Ever since she was young she has established a clear mind of what works on her what does not, and you to know what to highlight and love your body.

2. Pay attention your grooming.

Audrey’s look was always unmistakably well groomed and neat. Her love of simplicity extended to ensuring that she appeared simply made up even though quite a lot of effort had gone into achieving this look. For a simple but effective look, concentrate on caring well for your hair and getting it cut regularly. Select a hairstyle that suits you and revise the look as you age. Don’t be afraid to wear a style that isn’t current; provided it looks good on you, that’s what counts.

3. Consider Audrey Hepburn’s basics as part of your wardrobe. *They will be useful even if your not sporting her look.

-Plain White Shirt:  We’ve seen her sport this look at Roman Holiday and is then became a classic staple for women. And is versatile and comfortable to wear.

-Ballerina Flats: She may not  have became a ballerina but she is relieving it through her style. It can be paired with jeans, skirt or dresses and should be in every womans wardrobe.

-Fitted Suit: A chic one with a nice fit is very useful espcially in this age of woman empowerment and power dressing.

-The Little Black Dress: It was Audrey who introduced this to us, both in the films Sabrina and Breakfast at Tiffany’s showing its enduring importance as a fashion icon to this day. Her Givenchy black dress from Breakfast in Tiffany’s sold for nearly half a million pounds in 2006.

Accessories:

Scarf: This adds an instant update to what you are wearing you can use it on your head or simply hang it over for a casual and relaxed look.

Big Sunnies: To cover up those late night eye bags or to spare you from doing some eye make up.

Pearls: A classic staple.
